Staff heads for Meta Phoenix
I was contacted by Jamie to design and 3D print staff heads to fit on 1″ dowel. The staff head had to look like it was on fire, so we found a rechargeable LED light that mimicked fire which I could base the staff head dimensions around. The people directing the Meta Phoenix Art Truck held these while helping the pilot steer around Burning Man. They were also used to party late into the night in style.
Batman Cowl for Higher Function
Greg contacted me about making a Batman Cowl for his cosplay design. We were able to purchase the design online, and 3D print it in PETG, a durable and semi-flexible material. Once the sections were printed, I coated it with an automotive filler called Bondo, let it dry, then sanded down the surface for a semi-smooth finish. Check him out, rocking it on the red carpet at Edmonton Comic Con!

Materials
• TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) – a strong, flexible, rubbery filament, which can bend.
• PETG (Polyethylene terephthalate glycol) – a strong, rigid, hard filament which is resistant to force and bending. Comes in a variety of colors, including wood-infused, or carbon fiber.
• PLA (Polylactic acid) – a rigid, cost-effective filament which comes in all colors, even rainbow gradient! Great for artistic or decorative prints.
Case Study: Mounting Clips
Summer 2021 – I designed section signs for Kootenay Tamil Kitchen Masala Shop, but I couldn’t find the hardware I wanted to use locally, so I created my own. This project included 3D modeling, graphic design, vinyl mounting, and precisely cutting substrate.

Spring 2021 – Curves and faces created using Fusion 360, textured using Blender, and printed using Cura on an Ender 3 V2.

Winter 2020 – A demonstration of photogrammetry. Generating a 3D model based on images of a real world object. Placed into Unity VR for fun. Do you need anything cloned?
